Medical Infusion Technologies

To Whom it May Concern:

Over the past several years, my medical infusion business has provided cancer patients with chemotherapeutic agents. It quickly became evident these patients developed nutritional deficits as a result of the treatments, and the continuation of the treatments created increasingly dangerous nutritional deficiencies. I began nutritionally supplementing my patients, with permission from their oncologists, with a product called Propax™. This product was formulated to serve as adjunct nutritional support specifically for chemotherapy patients. I am writing this in praise of the product, based on the remarkable results.

The Propax™ formula is a compliance-based multivitamin complex, with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, essential fatty acids (specifically omega-3 oils), amino acids, and adjunct ingredients that provide support for the gastrointestinal tract and the process of cellular energy metabolism.

The tableting base of the product strategically addresses the issues of intestinal integrity, through the use of beneficial bacterial microflora, phospholipids and saponins from soy, and intestinal food sources for flora development and continued growth. Bacterial abundance has been indicated to aid in the process of elimination and nutrient absorption, and phospholipids aid in maintaining the integrity of the gut mucosa and cellular structure, all of which are severely compromised by the chemotherapy treatments.

The results have been quite encouraging, to say the least. Patients that had developed mucositis and diarrhea prior to taking the product, now experience minimized or no effects from these two side effects. I have also noticed an improvement in the appetite of my patients, as well as the energy levels in several patients. The formula does contain elements of cellular energy metabolism, which also seem to be effective in supporting the patients' mental clarity, another side effect of the treatment. With these results, I feel I have been able to improve my patients' quality of life, both during and after their chemotherapy treatments, and have been told so by a large number of them.

The oncologists I work with have also seen the results, which has prompted a quality of life study with the Propax™ product, in New Orleans. The patients being studied have colon/rectal cancer and are receiving Florouracil and Calcium Leucovorin. Compilation of the data will prove the efficacy of this product in relieving side effects of the chemotherapy and increasing the overall quality of life for these patients. Both the oncology group and myself feel strongly that the adjunct support, provided by this product, is making a difference in our patients.

Sincerely,

Michael Casso, R.Ph.
